Does pain remit sins? Could a painful self-killing be planned to save the suicidal for eternity?

I don't think that God would want us his creatures to harm ourselves in any way, and less would he expect that from us in order to please him

As for suicide, it isn't in his plans either, because only Him is supposed to decide upon our lives (and deaths, consequently)

Suicidals don't get to Heaven as far as I know, but I might be wrong (we all might)

kiss|||No and no|||Pain has nothing to do with forgiveness from God, so no.|||That's just all messed up in every way possible.|||No and No and NO again.|||it is too late to say u r sorry once u take your own life u r no longer in the same realm of life|||sure.Let's say you were to throw yourself into a nest of army ants.Instant ticket to heaven.Or lets say you had yourself devoured by pirahna in a pool of salty lemonade. How could God not forgive someone with that kind of gumption?|||c'mon ,huh ?|||That would be the rationale for suicide bombers... Why not just go Shiite and beat the crap out of yourself?|||Yes.

Save yourself by Seppuku.

(Look THAT one up, "Filter".)|||No|||no. If you destroy gods creation, he will not welcome you into his kingdom. You are gods creation, therefore, taking your life by your hand regardless of pain level is an affront to god. He put us on earth with a purpose and it is a simple purpose. We are here to explore all that there is. We must constantly seek out that which we don't know. A sin is a human thing. We sin if we violate the rules of our beliefs. Ergo, no amount of pain will cancel out the sin if it still violates the rules of our beliefs. Pain is a way for some one who feels guilty to punish themselves to make themselves feel better. Kind of like a thief who feels guilty might donate the money he stole to charity. The act doesn't cancel out the crime, it only changes the recipient. Pain and suicide only means that you felt better about removing yourself from the gene pool.

If you are going to kill yourself rest assured you won't go to heaven and you can relax insomuch as you don't have to go out in agonizing pain.

Please, before you decide to end your self could you at least count to ten and remember that you don't have to die. Life can be really awful, but it can really make you stand in awe of all the beauty that is here. Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are right.

Answer this: How do you get a witch pregnant?

F*ck her.

Smile.Your answer to your question is obvious|||No!!!! is the short answer.|||Not with your attitude of heck-with-what-God-says. Pain doesn't do diddly. "It is obedience I want not sacrifice". Sound familiar ?|||No it does not. There are only two things by which sins may be remitted: Reparations for the evil done, or forgiveness by the offended party.|||Nunca se podr谩 saber que pasa por la mente de un suicida.

Es cierto que la vida es propiedad de Dios, pero 脡l tambi茅n nos da el libre albedr铆o, don que perdemos al estar insanos, entonces, 驴c贸mo podr铆a Dios condenarnos si no estamos en nuestros cabales?

Entonces, en resumen, s铆, el suicida se puede salvar.|||I don't know whether you are serious about this or not. If you are just trying to be thought provoking, then I apologise for what I am about to say, but if that really is a serious question, then....

Don't be so bloody stupid.

If it did, there is already so much pain in the world everyday that there would be no sin left to remit!

I really am sick and tired of such lunacy. Except... I must contradict myself because even the sad and painful deaths of thousands of children that die in poverty everyday would not be enough to remit the sin of such religious stupidity.
