I am currently staying in the US and I would like to remit some money back to a Resident Savings account in India. The particular savings account holder does not have a PAN number. Will it be possible for him/her to receive the remittance successfully?
(PS: I would be using an online remittance system, like SBI Express Remit)|||Yes it is possible. Locate any SBI branch closes to you, and you can send funds directly to any SBI account. Tried and tested :)
