As a Canadian company buying goods for resale from the USA do I have to pay US sales tax?

I know as a Canadian company selling to customers outside of Canada, I am not suppose to collect and remit taxes on those purchases. Does this work for purchases outside of Canada? In other words is tax suppose to be collected?|||Yes, IF you're ordering from the supplier in the US they do not have to charge you state tax.

If you're driving to the US and picking up at a retailer or cash and carry, you will have to pay sales tax. You can show your vendor permit, but they might not want to deal with removing the sales tax (hassle and process issues, not legality)
