What does it mean when a bill says "Do Not Remit"?

I received a scholarship from a school for their summer program and recently received a bill stating the amount of the scholarship and the amount of the program. The program cost $600 more than the amount I was given for the scholarship. However, the bill says, twice, Do Not Remit. What does Do Not Remit mean in this circumstance?|||You do not have to pay, as it is not a bill, but merely a statement|||Since "Do not remit," means "do not pay," I would think you got some sort of a statement and not a bill. Maybe the school is willing to take the scholarship as payment in full? Contact the school.|||It means it's not a bill.

It's just an explanation of your scholarship benefit.

Do Not Remit means "don't pay us anything at this time."

Wait for an actual bill that says "Pay this amount."
