You need to call New York State for the proper forms to file withholding taxes and unemployment taxes. You should be able to check on-line as well. Depending on your business, you may also need to register as a sales tax vendor.

I have no idea what the other person is talking about.|||its sad that you wouldnt want your employees to be able to collect unemployment comp if ever laid off. Do you know how hard it is to support a family if you was laid off or wrongfully fired. I can tell you it is hard. Think twice before you make that move please.
