Can a bill collector demand you to remit a bill in person instead of sending it to a remit address?

The debtor is requesting that the bill be paid in person on the invoice but I would rather send my payment via a bill pay service. Is this a reasonable demand for a debtor and is there any way I can pay the invoice via mail? FYI: This notice comes standard on all their invoices (not just mine).|||It's unusual. As long as they get paid, they shouldn't care how it actually got there. I'd be wary of a scam, especially if the "in person" place is an address other than that on the invoice. They also may be trying to avoid bank fee for money going in or out of their account, but tough beans.
